2012 Willows Car and Bike Show!















Welcome to the 27th Annual Willows Car and Bike Show held in Jensen Park (Elm Street), in beautiful Willows, California.

Event starts Friday night with the "Show and Shine" cruise through town. Start time 5:00 p.m. and the party goes until 10:00 p.m. DJ, games, food, crafts, and "street dance."

Join us Saturday morning at the Rotary Club for their Pancake Breakfast located at xxx start time xxx.  Saturday's event at the park officially starts at 10:00 a.m., and continues until 4:00 p.m.  Early arrival? OK.

We'll have raffles, food, beer, crafts, and kids carnival and games.  We offer tons of shade, easy parking, picnic tables and restroom facilities.  Truly a fun even for the whole family.  All types of foods will be available, but feel free to bring a picnic lunch and lawn chairs!

Trophies will be given to over 13 categories for cars, and over 13 categories for bikes, too! (note: must have 3 vehicles per category to create a category). Pre-registration of your car or bike is only $25 (Friday night or Saturday morning no later than 10am sharp: $30). Proceeds go towards WCBA Scholarship Program (towards automotive/technical and adult education programs).

While your here... cool backroad rides... bring your camera...

#1: Stoneyford Loop Ride: Leaving Willows go West on Hwy 162 for approximately 20 miles, then turn left towards Elk Creek (see Nancy's Elk Horn Family Lodge & Restaurant  530- 968-5312).  Go through Elk Creek towards Stonyford, approximately 17 miles (see Timberline Bar & Grill in the middle of thown, at 530-963-3074 279 Market St,).  (Note: You will also see signs for East Park Reservoir, great for picnics, fishing and bbq's.)  From town, turn left on Sites Lodoga Road  for approx 13 miles, then turn left on Maxwell Sites Road (approx 8 miles) until  you arrive in Maxwell, CA.  Get back on Inerstate 5 and head north back up to Willows (approx.  20 miles) Total Approx. Ride Time: 2 hrs and 15 minutes with no stopping.

#2: Black Butte Lake Ride: Leaving Willows going West on Hwy 162 for approximately 20 miles, at the "T" turn right on Hwy 162 going north.  You will stay on this road for approximately 14 miles.  (IMPORTANT note: once you turn onto hwy 162,  hwy 162 BECOMES road 306 after 3.7 miles.  Do not turn left and take hwy 162 over the mountains. You will end up in  Mendocino County National Forest!!!) Hwy 162 turn into Road 306 after 3.7 miles.  Stay straight, heading towards Chrome/Newville.  When you get to Road 200, turn right towards Orland (approx 20 miles).  You will be passing by Black Butte Lake (stop for a picnic/bathrooms/fishing).  In Orland you will find gas and restaurants.  Check out Farwood Bar and Grill (530) 865-9900 705 5th St, http://www.farwoodbarandgrill.com/.  Get back on I-5 going south to Willows for another 15 miles.  Total Approx. Ride Time: 1 hr and 50 minutes with no stopping.

#3: Butte City  Ride: Leaving Willows, head East on Highway 162 E towards the town of Glenn (approx. 11 miles).  At the "T", turn right on Hwy 162/Hwy 45 for 4.5 miles.  Turn left on Hwy 162/Biggs and go 2 miles to the town of Butte City, and stop at The Butte City Club 8291 Highway 162 - (530) 982-2325 and quench your thirst.  After leaving the Club, go another 3.1 miles and turn left on Road Z.  Go 5 miles on Road Z, and continue onto 7 Mile Road for 7.9 miles.  Turn left on Ord Ferry 5.5 miles. Turn left on Hwy 45 for approx. 7.5 miles back into the town of Glenn, then left on Hwy 162 back towards Willows.  Total Approx. Ride Time: 1 hr and 20 minutes with no stopping.

#4: Mini-Ride to the River Glenn: Leaving Willows, traveling North on Hwy 99 for 4 miles, turn right on Road 39 for 10 miles.  Then left on Hwy 45 for one half mile.  You will see The River Glenn on your left.  Yes, it's a trailer park, too.  Great bar and restaurant.  Call ahead to order steak dinners and make sure the bar/restaurant is open.  Total Approx.
